About:

A European trainer specialized in working with young people in intercultural groups. The three main strengths of my training approach are the followings: a simplified theoretical content as a base for immediate use in practice, using appealing visual support such as presentations, infographics or drawings and focusing on participants’ motivation and involvement.
Specialized in new media tools both theory (research studies, statistics etc.) and practice (tips and tricks).

Project manager in the youth field (full time)

Work experience

Since 2008 I am managing various youth projects at both local and European levels. My specialties are business management, human rights and new media. Since then, I have delivered over 1000 hours of training, 60% of them being done at international level.

In 2010 I founded GEYC Community which later become an NGO registered in Romania. As of 2024, GEYC Community has over 10000 members: youth, teachers and youth workers. In my capacity as General Manager of the organisation, I have the following responsibilities:
- representing the organisation towards its main stakeholders (public authorities, companies, educational institutions, NGOs and media);
- providing guidance and support for functional and project managers;
- creating and implementing organisational strategy and policy for development;
- supervising organisations' programs and projects;
- in charge of the financial, accounting & legal operations of the organisation;
- assuring the Presidency of PRISMA European Network (http://prisma-network.eu);
- as a member of SALTO Youth Pool of Trainers and EU-CoE Youth Partenership Database of Experts in the Youth field (training, youth work, youth policy) I am facilitating nonformal education activities for young people and youth workers;
- I am Speaker / Moderator for multi-stakeholder events according to my areas of expertise.

Educational pathway

My academic path focused on various areas of business management with project management, human resources management and social responsibility as the main specializations.

In the training field I have graduated a 5 years psycho-pedagogical module for teachers and trainers and I am a certified trainer and train of trainers by the Romanian Ministries of Labor and Education.

In addition to that, my non-formal education experiences focused more on social and intercultural topics such as preventing unemployment, human rights, tolerance, cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue, working with minorities, social inclusion etc.
