Training course "EUtopia" - Diversity in a Changing Europe 6th - 12th of May, Latvia The training course aims at supporting youth work practitioners to better understand the realities of young people in contemporary Europe, fostering reflection on youth workers' professional responsibilities in relation the current socio-political situation and encouraging new practices in youth work. A specific focus will be on the role of diversity in Europe in the midst of current developments. Implemented.
SOHO Training course for EVS support persons 9th - 13th of May, Latvia The training course aims at enhancing quality of EVS projects through development of essential competences of support persons. It also provides up-to-date information to its participants on the opportunities given by the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme. Implemented
 "Let's Coordinate!" -Training course for EVS organisations 9th - 14th of May, Croatia The training course provides a possibility for   accredited EVS organisations to develop capacities and enhance the quality of coordination of their EVS projects. Implemented

Training course Erasmus+ For Refugees and Migrants

21st - 26th of May, Turkey The training aims at providing youth work practitioners with competences in developing support activities and mechanisms for refugees and migrants in the frame of the Erasmus+ Programme. Implemented

Training course READY2START? : Non-formal Learning as a Tool to Support Entrepreneurial Skills Development Training

26th - 31st of May, Turkey The aim of this training is to bring all related parts and to share Non-formal learning methods in order to create a platform for result oriented discussion with concrete recommendations. Closed
Erasmus+: YiA National Agency staff training on working with Neighbouring Partner Countries (NPC) 30 - 31 May 2017 Staff training for National Agency staff dealing with NPC aiming to discuss challenges and jointly find solutions, share experiences and harmonise practices, with a view to increasing the place and visibility of the work with NPC in the Programme. SALTO SEE Trainers' Pool meeting 5th - 8th of June, Slovenia

SALTO SEE trainers' pool will meet in order to exchange about issues related to training in European youth work of relevance for the Western Balkans.

National workshops for EVS organisations Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia (dates tbc) The aim of these workshops is to offer a forum for exchange of experience and support for EVS coordinators, supervisors and mentors. Information will be disseminated in due time via SALTO SEE and Contact Points.
Training course "Cherry on the Cake"– Encouraging active citizenship through Youth exchange
 
19th - 23rd of June, Slovenia The aim of the educational concept “Cherry on the cake” is to discover the potential and possibilities of a Youth Exchange as a tool for non-formal education in the long term work with young people. This year's edition will focus on how to use a Youth Exchange in supporting young people’s active European citizenship.   Implemented
Western Balkans Forum on Youth "Connecting Youth – Moving Forward" 11 - 12 July, Trieste, Italy "Connecting Youth – Moving Forward" aims to build on previous discussions among young people, youth workers, youth leaders and other relevant stakeholders involved in youth policy and further stimulate youth presence in the Western Balkans. The conference will stress the importance of youth to the European integration process. Information about recommendations from the Forum will be uploaded as soon as available.

Partnership-building activity  "Make the Move IV"

12th - 17th of September, Portugal The aim of the activity is to provide support and training elements for organising a Youth Exchange. Besides creating the opportunity for participants to create strong partnerships, the activity offers a real intercultural experience as an inspirational example for future Youth Exchanges. Training and Trainers in the field of youth - Changes and Challenges 9th - 13th of October, Czech Republic The aim of the training course is to support trainers active at the national level in their development in relation to the civic and political competence. The activity is cancelled
Speak UP, Step UP! European youth work empowering young people’s democratic values & active citizenship 16 - 18 October, Berlin, Germany Speak UP, Step UP! is a European conference to consider the practice, impact and future role of Erasmus+ Youth in Action in promoting democratic values and attitudes and active citizenship among young people in Europe. 13th - 16th of November, Slovenia The forum gathers various stakeholders in the field of youth to explore relevant policies and practices connected to the education for democratic citizenship with a European dimension, gain new insight on the topic and develop inspiring responses. Interregional strategy - Youth work against violent radicalisation Conference: 27 Nov - 1 Dec, Malta

The projects consists in several steps:

In 2017, it will focus on research of good practices, needs and challenges encountered by NGOs in different countries and regions and an international conference to discuss the situation and needs for follow up to increase resources for further work in this field.

3rd EUSDR Youth Platform autumn, Austria The 3rd EUSDR Youth Platform aims at bringing together educators from the non-formal and formal education field, in order to exchange, reflect and value the cross-sectorial cooperation fostering social cohesion in the Danube Region.  The call will be published in the autumn.
International EuroPeers training course 6th - 11th of November, Bosnia and Herzegovina The training, run on a regular basis, aims to introduce EuroPeers to possible activities that the can run in their own context, give them basic skills and offer peer-learning from the experience of others. The call will be published in the autumn.

Training Course "Piece of Peace in Piispala" 18th - 22nd of January, Finland The aim of the training was to to discover the potential of youth work in peace-building by exploring how concepts and dynamics of conflict resolution can be understood and used in a local context, and to promote the idea of youth workers as agents for social change.
Training Course European Citizenship in Youth Work 22nd - 28th February, UK The aim of the training was to support youth workers to understand the concept of European citizenship and how to apply it in their work.
Annual meeting of  Contact Points for Erasmus+: Youth in Action in the Western Balkan countries 7th - 8th of March, Slovenia The Contact Points for Erasmus+: Youth in Action in the Western Balkan region meet annually to reflect on current developments in the region, evaluate implemented activities and further develop action plans for the future.
BiTriMulti - Multilateral Training Course for newcomers in youth exchanges 15th - 19th of March, Turkey The aim of the training was to to develop the competences of youth workers and youth leaders in designing and delivering an inclusive, quality youth exchange processes within the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme.
Training course "Europeers: share your European experiences with your peers" 30th March - 3rd April, Austria The aim of the training course was to prepare participants for active participation in the EuroPeers network; to give participants basic knowledge about mobility programmes in Europe (focus on Erasmus+), new knowledge and skills in project management, PR activities and presentation techniques, as well as practical ideas and tools how to teach others about Europe and Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme.
Training Course European Citizenship in Youth Work 4th - 10th of April, Czech Republic The aim of the training was to support youth workers to understand the concept of European citizenship and how to apply it in their work.
Interregional training of EVS trainers working with countries neighbouring the EU 5th - 9th of April, Poland The aim of the meeting was to support the process of capacity building and quality development in the EVS training field in all regions of Partner Countries Neighbouring EU through joint reflection about realities and exchange of practice.
Expert seminar - ETS Competence Model for youth workers to work international 18th - 21st of April, Austria The aim of the seminar was to introduce the new ETS Competence Model for youth workers to work international and to reflect on applying competence models in non-formal training strategies or formal curricula to train youth workers.
Erasmus+: YiA National Agency staff training on EVS 23rd - 28th of April, UK Staff training for National Agency staff in charge of EVS aiming to discuss challenges and jointly find solutions, share experiences and harmonise practices, to increase quality in EVS.
COMETS Communicates 23rd - 28th of April, UK Training for trainers on ‘Communicating Meaningfully with Others’ in the framework of European Training Strategy (ETS).
Training course ABC learning in EVS 8th - 14th of May, Estonia The project aimed to improve the quality of learning support provided to EVS volunteers by increasing the competencies of the EVS accredited organizations to better plan, deliver and evaluate the learning.
Regional workshop for EuroPeers in the Western Balkan region 8th - 10th of May, Serbia

Teh aim of the meeting was to initiate the regional Western Balkan EuroPeers network, bring together young people who had expressed interest in joining this initiative and connect them regionally; prepare participants for active participation in the EuroPeers network; give them basic knowledge about mobility programmes in Europe (focus on Erasmus+), new knowledge and skills in project management, PR activities and presentation techniques; develop ideas and tools how to teach others about Europe and Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme.

Europeers international meeting 12th - 15th of May, Poland Once a year many active EuroPeers from all over Europe gather at a network meeting. Besides training sessions, there’s plenty of time to sit down with other EuroPeers and develop creative new projects.
Youth Platform II "Learning Pathways to Social Cohesion in the Danube Region" 16th - 19th of May, Austria The youth platform brought together 50 - 60 practitioners from different educational sectors working with young people (13 - 19 years old). It aimed to promote the added value of cooperation between formal and non-formal education for addressing the challenges young people are facing, thus contributing to social cohesion in the Danube region.
Training course Feel the rhythm! V4+Roma 23rd - 28th of May, Hungary and Slovenia The aim of teh traiing was to get to offer an opportunity for Roma (youth) organizations know and share good and exciting examples from other countries in order to become more involved in the Erasmus+ programme, to present opportunities for international projects and see and to meet potential future partners.Furthermore this training course is a great opportunity to deepen the cooperation of the Visegrad 4 countries, which share the same history and reality in the society.
Let's coordinate! - Training course for EVS organisations 22nd - 27th of May, Croatia The aim of the training was to develop capacities of accredited EVS organisations and enhance the quality of coordination of EVS projects
SALTO SEE meeting of EVS accreditors 12th - 13th of June, Durres, Albania The meeting aimed to share practices and challenges and to define joint approaches where needed, in order to further increase competences of accreditors and the overall quality of the accreditation process in the Western Balkan region.
Training Course "EUtopia" 27th of June - 1st of July, Serbia The aim of the training was to address various implications of the European migrant crisis on youth from the perspective of understanding diversity in rapidly changing Europe.
"Connecting Youth" - Western Balkans Youth Conference 4th of July, France The Connecting Youth conference was organised in the framework of the "Berlin process" by the European Commission and the Government of the French Republic with support of SALTO SEE and the EYF. 150 young people from the EU and Western Balkans countries discussed common challenges and worked towards finding joint solutions. Conference agenda
"Promote Yourself" -Long-term training course on visibility, dissemination and exploitation of results within the Erasmus+: Youth in Action projects, part 2. 5th - 9th of September, Lithuania The aim was to offer support for the applicants and beneficiaries of the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme for successful planning and implementation of visibility and DEOR strategies within their projects.
Europe-Western Balkans Youth Meeting "Connecting Youth Work and Policy" - youth participation, civic engagement, youth mobility 25th - 29th September, Ljubljana, Slovenia This conference brought together 40 - 50 participants to follow up the outcomes of the Western Balkans Youth Conference "Connecting Youth". Organised by MOVIT - SALTO SEE together with Austrian, German and Turkish National Agencies for Erasmus+, youth field, in close communication with the European Commission and with the support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.
Learning programme "Youthful Europe" -Western Balkan edition 3rd - 8th of October, Kosovo The training provided youth work practitioners with a possibility to explore different approaches towards Europe through three of its constitutive elements: identity, values and active citizenship and to develop competences to address European dimension in young people’s daily life.
European Volunteering Forum 10th - 14th October, Maribor, Slovenia On the occasion of 20 years of EVS, the Forum offered 50 participants from Europe and all neighbouring partner regions a space for celebration as well as critical reflection about the role and impact of transnational volunteering, for sharing good practices and benefits as well as current challenges. It also stimulated networking and new partnerships.
Antidiscrimination education across Erasmus+ Youth projects 24th - 29th of October, Poland The aim of the training was to deal with discrimination happening among young people at Erasmus+ Youth projects, during their free time and at school.
TOOL FAIR XI - #ReadyfortheRoad - Tools|Solidarity|Inclusion 7th - 12th of November, Malta Tool Fair XI focused on "Tools for Solidarity and Inclusion" through innovative youth work approaches to reach out and support young people at risk of marginalisation and social exclusion, including young people with a migrant or refugee background.
Bridges for trainers 28th of November - 1st of December, Austria Bridges for Trainers offered a platform to debate trends and hot issues related to training in the youth field – national and international. In 2016 Bridges provided a space to discuss current challenges of societies and their effects on young people.
Training Course "Cherry on the cake" with the focus on dissemination and exploitation of results of Youth Exchanges 21st - 25th of November, Montenegro The aim was to provide support for quality planning & implementation of Youth Exchanges and their strategic placement within long-term everyday work with young people. The focus of this year's edition was on dissemination and exploitation of project results.
