EntrepreneurSelf

The training activity took place
in Benalmadena, Spain
organised by EuroMuevete
23-30 October 2023

Aims & objectives

Entrepreneurship has been an important driving force of our local, national, and global economies in our age.
Entrepreneurial-minded individuals who start small businesses create jobs and wealth. As entrepreneurs, they lead industry sectors with their entrepreneurial spirit that encourages innovation. These youth workers have the ability to foster an entrepreneurial culture that can maximize economic and social success at the local, national, and global levels. By having an entrepreneurial spirit and applying basic principles and elements, we want to ensure that youth workers develop their skills to support young people in making their ideas come true. (Youth workers will develop their skills in three ways: theoretical aspects of entrepreneurship, practical aspects).

This project will provide sufficient information and knowledge based on case studies, best practices, and concrete examples across Europe on entrepreneurship, digital technologies and digital entrepreneurship, entrepreneurs' success stories, the role of NGOs in supporting young entrepreneurs, and concrete methods and tools of informal ones.
The Europe 2020 strategy to increase employability in Europe will create a creative space that empowers participants to discover their unique values, create and maintain a brand, set goals, plan and define, and promote them through different tools and channels.

The main objectives of the project meet the goals of the Erasmus Plus program:
- Helping participants through different self-reflection and group work to discover new methods that can guide youth workers to discover their personal values, career values , and professional interests and to discover creative ways to shape their personal brands according to them;
- To help participants explore all possible career options, using the history we will collect in profiling exercises to learn more about the labour market and employee expectations.
The specific goals of the project
- To help participants discover new informal methods in the field of personal branding to be used in their work with young people from sending organisations (personal values, career values , and professional interests, creative ways to shape their personal brands);
- To create an international platform where methods can be loaded; (accessible from participants, professional advice from experts, tests, and exams, and accessible to any young person at the European level interested in developing their personal branding);
- Improving networking, multicultural awareness and exchange of best practices, and greater collaboration among nonprofits, with a focus on personal branding, social entrepreneurship, and talent management.
