Work experience

I have experience in various youth policy related fields, but recently I have mainly worked on the topics of participation, active citizenship, strategic planning, organizational management, advocacy & communication.

I am a member of the following Pools of Trainers:
- Council of Europe PoT (DYS, Congress of Regional and Local authorities);
- senior expert of international think-tank ParticipationAgency
- Lithuanian Youth Affairs Agency;
- former- European Youth Forum PoT.

Besides involvement in international think-tanks and working groups and hundreds of trainings, I have contributed to the preparation of methodological materials for international youth work: manual for YEU member organizations “How to organize International youth exchange?!”, “PR means in work of youth organization". I also write articles (in English) for European Youth Forum and NGO newsletters about youth realities and topics important to youngsters.

Educational pathway

I have BD in philosophy and MD in law plus a long record of involvement in various non governmental structures: Lithuanian NA, National Youth Council, INGYO, involved in the working groups of European Youth Forum, etc.

In my professional and academic career I learned to work individually while in NGO sector I developed a capacity to work in a team. If necessary and appropriate, I am able to do so pro-actively and independently, but I also enjoy stimulating creativity and finding solutions in a team.

Having worked in diverse positions and projects I am both sensitive and open to different cultures and work styles.
