http://trainers.salto-youth.net/SuncanaKusturin/
I’m a social worker, supervisor in psycho-social work, youth worker and a trainer. I love to mix diverse competencies I've acquired through both formal and non-formal education. This mixture gives me a possibility to be a responsible, well organised, resourceful trainer and at the same time creative, playful and curious. Over the years, my professional journey has involved managing NGO and projects but also direct engagement with children, youth, parents, teachers and youth workers.
suncana kusturin has 12 references for past work as a trainer.
freelance trainer in the youth field
"I worked at Association Play from 2002 to 2016, fulfilling various roles such as office manager, supervisor, trainer, and program coordinator. Additionally, I took on the responsibilities of a group and youth leader across several projects. Since 2017, I have pursued a path of self-employment, offering training, facilitating sessions, and providing supervision services to a diverse range of organizations.
My professional journey has been enriched through collaboration with numerous esteemed national and international organizations, including but not limited to the Council of Europe (COE), Swedish National Agency, Hungarian National Agency, Croatian National Agency and Slovenian National Agency. I have also collaborated with SALTO-YOUTH Inclusion & Diversity, SOS Children's Villages in Croatia and Serbia, Interculturales Zentrum and Croatian Youth Network, gaining valuable insights and experiences.
My focal areas of expertise include social inclusion, alternative care, youth work, professional stress and wellbeing, mentoring, non-formal methodology and creative techniques. Over the years, I have successfully facilitated both large and small scale national and international events, showcasing my ability to work independently or within a collaborative team setting.
