Work experience

My story in youth field starts from working in a youth centre in Vilnius (2004-2008) as a youth worker and project manager. After implementing youth exchange projects and working directly with youth I moved to work as a trainer and expert in the youth field. These days I am involved in to youth training, youth work and youth policy development and research in Lithuania and abroad.

Main achievements:
From 2009 I took part in youth work development in Lithuania: being a member of a working group and leading expert group developing youth worker certification methodology (2010) and leading the pilot training course of 100 youth workers in Lithuania.
From 2011 I started my carrier as a youth researcher conducting analysis on integrated youth policy in Lithuania and together with colleagues establishing Institute for Policy research and analysis (www.institutas.eu);
In 2010 I became a co-owner of training centre “Daugirdiskes” providing specialized service for youth educational activities (www.daugirdiskes.lt);
From 2007 till now I am a trainer and expert for the Department of youth affairs under the ministry of Social affairs and Labor of the Republic of Lithuania - involved in youth worker training and expert in open youth work;
From 2008 till now I am a trainer of the Lithuanian - Polish youth exchange fund (in the frames of the fund I was one of the developers of the project support system - a 4 training course program for the project coordinators)
For the period of 2008-2012 I work as an expert for the Youth Organizations' Quality Development System in Lithuanian youth council (LiJOT);

Educational pathway

Formal education:
In 2012 I gained Masters Degree in Educational sciences, specialization Education policy and administration, in Vilnius University. Field of research: cross-sectoral cooperation in youth policy field. Main educational focus: policy research and analysis.
In 2008 I gained a Bachelor Degree in Business administration and management, marketing specialization in Vilnius Gediminas technical university.

Non-formal education:
In 2010 I successfully finished long-term Training for Trainers at advanced level TALE ("Trainers for Active Learning in Europe" http://youth-partnership.coe.int/youth- partnership/training/trainingoftrainers.html)
As well I am participant if long term training for trainer "Learning2learn" (http://www.learning2learn.eu/) and in UNIQUE R.I.D.E. training course for practicing youth trainers with the topic of personal development and mental health of trainers, in 2009 Lithuania.
