To empower and motivate youth leaders for development and realization of international and local youth projects
To provide understanding of non-formal education and skills for acting as peer educators and leaders
To answer the question what is youth participation and understand how to assure participation at all project’ stages
To provide knowledge on intercultural learning as integral part of international and local youth projects
To provide knowledge of the European youth program (EYF, Youn in Action, etc)
To understand quality criteria of youth projects such as: visibility and valorization, impact on local community, European Dimension
Trainer’s team: team was composed from 3 trainers and 1 technical assistant. 2 trainer coming from EU: Lithuania and Latvia; 1 from Belarus and technical assistant from Russia.
Target group: 28 youth leaders and youth workers from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine;
Project was funded by: Youth in Action program and European youth foundation.
Main principle of the training was learning from experience accompanied by youth non-formal education methods: simulation games, team building activities, creative presentations, practical tasks.
After the training course participants got knowledge about pear education; youth non-formal education; project management and various opportunities; leadership active youth participation; Participants developed follow-up project after the training course and as well had practical tasks to be implemented at the local reality after the training.
