TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

The topic of the training was unemployment among young people. It was partially a methodological training for youth workers, and same time a good opportunity for the participants to explore the unemployment topic and finding partner organizations for future projects.
The target group was youth leaders who work with young unemployed and job-seeker people. The participants: 26 participants (17F/9M), from 16 countries.

We used different non formal learning methods during the training: group work activities, project planning tasks, drama methods focusing on motivation and prejudices.
The course gave participants the opportunity to develop projects with the support of their peers and the team. 6 months after the course:
Successes are the following - six months after the training:
50% of participants has developed one or more projects
36% of participants received Youth in Action funding for their project
36% of the projects are organised with partner organisations found on the TC Unemployment.

My main part was to share my experiences in working with young unemployed people, and show different practical techniques and methods to the youth workers. I took care of reflecting own learning and issuing YouthPasses to participants.
