European Youth Week 2011

The training activity took place
in Brussels
organised by European Commission and YFJ
May 14-18, 2011

Aims & objectives

This event was implemented as a dialogue between European youth and European Commission. It's main aim was to evaluate structured dialogue (national consultations) which was held during Trio Presidency Events in Spain, Belgium and Hungary.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

I was training and working with young people from EU countries, age from 18 to 35. Event was carried out in English.

Training methods used & main activities

We mostly used method of facilitated discussion and work in small groups. Also some ice breaking methods, sharing experience and points of discussions in a large group (opinion cafe etc)

Outcomes of the activity

A document with recommendation for implementation of structured dialogue and diverse policies tackling youth unemployment.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

As a trainer and facilitator (my responsibilities were training, developing methods and tools, encouraging discussions, facilitating).

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
