TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

One of my favorite quotes is "we are what we do to change who we are". I believe very strongly in non formal education as the tool for this kind of improvement. ...Plus, it's fun!
Eleni Stamouli has 15 references for past work as a trainer.
Free lance trainer, Co-owner of a food shop of fair and solidarity trade
Since 2007, I've passionately worked as a freelance trainer and facilitator in Non-Formal Education, engaging with diverse audiences ranging from adults to young people and children within the framework of Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Programmes. My expertise covers a wide range of topics, including Human Rights, Inclusion, Gender Violence, Social Entrepreneurship, Skills Development, Group Dynamics, and Fair Trade, among others. In addition to my educational pursuits, I've been an active member of a fair trade shop-café women's cooperative since 2011 (www.lacandona.gr). Known for my positive energy and competence in collaborative settings, I work well in group environments, contributing effectively to shared goals and fostering a dynamic atmosphere.
I studied "Communication and Culture" in Panteion University in Athens and "Psychology" in Deree, the American College in Greece. I was an EVS volunteer in 2002 and a participant in many seminars and training courses over the last years, which have given me some very strong learning experiences. One of them, was my first contact with the idea of "Self Directed Learning" (during the Salto ToT in 2008). For the first time, I was exclusively responsible for my own learning and I had no idea how to deal with that! I have been very interested in the ways we employ to overcome limitations that we acquire, due to our exposure to formal education and I wanted to work further on that. In 2019 I received my masters degree in "Adult Education" in Hellenic Open University, with a dissertation on Self Directed Learning.
I enjoy working in a group, am easy to takl to, understanding and generally optimistic.
