To enhance the notion of non-formal learning within the creative actions done by youth organizations
To add the global dimension to activities carried out by youth structures
To promote creative activism as a tool for working in development education

To stimulate deeper discussion on learning and education for a better world
To plan concrete future projects and to promote concrete opportunities (for example within the YiA programme) for participants to get to know, develop and practice a variety of ways to act for global issues.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

26 participants from Greece, Germany, Ireland, Finland, bulgaria, Romania, Slavenia, Estonia, Lithuania

Training methods used & main activities

A Creative Laboratory formed the main structure of the TC where participants were introduced to key topics and methods and encouraged to try them out in a safe environment! Topics and methods explored include: Climate change, Trade Vs Aid, Migration, Social Theatre, Multi-media/ social media, Street Art, loesje, choir of complaints and much more…

Outcomes of the activity

This TC was a great one, for many reasons, but mainly because the participants had a lot to contribute to both the topics and the methods. They were very artistic and it showed in the final exhibition that we organized in Mayfield Community Arts Centre.
