EVS Annual Event 2019

Aims & objectives

The aims of the annual event are to help the volunteers network and find ideas to work on together, propose projects to their sending organisations and generally be active in the youth and social field, after their EVS. Also to inform them about opportunities for the future, within the Erasmus+ or ESC framework, or outside.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The annual event had 32 participants, all greek speaking, but from different ethnic backgrounds young people, who had been EVS volunteers during the last year.

Training methods used & main activities

Methods of non formal education were used, working in groups, brainstorming, open space techniques, role playing games and strategic visualisations.

Outcomes of the activity

It was a very successful training course, the participants were inspired from one another and they still communicate in order to realize the plans they made during the event.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

i was one of the full time trainers in the event, fully involved in the preparation, the implementation and the evaluation.

I worked on this training for 2 days as a full time trainer.
