The main objective of this course was to provide participants with creative tools and encourage them to explore their own resources in reference to situations of conflict. We also aimed to introduce methods and ideas on how to prevent conflict, and especially how to transform it.
The group was composed by 23 young people and youth workers from Turkey, Bulgaria, Spain, Greece, Czech Republic and Germany.
The methodology of the course was based on the principles of non-formal education and self directed learning, building on a good group dynamic, with active participants and creative working tools and considered the different styles of learning and participation of participants.
The group was invited to organize and participate in a final exhibition that was held in a very central youth information center in Sofia, where they presented the different tools and results of the work that they have done during the course. There was a final outcome of the training course, "the book of spies: share your secret weapon in creativity", which included the tools used in it and was distributed in the participating organisations and their partners.
This Training Course was the practical part of my ToT training. I was involved in the whole process, from the initial planing, the application, the communication with and selection of the participants, up to running the sessions and doing the final report.
