International Project Manager and Freelancer Trainer

Work experience

In 2000 I participated in a EVS project in Italy for 6 months, which was the first step to develop my competences in international youth work, and later I started coordinating projects and became a freelancer trainer. I coordinated different projects but one of the biggest was the Short EVS project for 100 EVS volunteers in 2007 during the World Sailing Championship.

I was the president of ANEVE (Association for EVS volunteers in Portugal) from 2005 to 2012 and besides coordinating the association and different European Mobility Programmes in formal and non-formal education, I developed some activities for the Network EVS European Association. I was one of the founders of Check-IN Association in 2010 and at the moment I am the president. I am currently coordinating a European mobility project for youth and adults education. I am in the pool of trainers of the Portuguese National Agency and I am a Multiplier for Eurodesk.

Full-time Trainer, national and internationally, especially on Project Management, Project Design, European Volunteer Service, Volunteering, Facilitation, European Projects planning, Learning to learn, Team building and other topics.

Educational pathway

- Master's Degrees in Management and Entrepreneurship
- Portuguese Certification for working as a trainer in formal education (Pedagogical Skills Certificate)
