FACE - Facilitation is easy!

The training activity took place
in Vinci, Italy
organised by Associazione Agrado
19th to 26th September 2017

Aims & objectives

• Provide Youth Workers with practical tools of facilitation to use with youth for raising their self efficacy and empowering them in their personal and professional life, especially those with fewer
opportunities (NEET, migrants,..)
• Improve youth work quality and enhance the role of youth workers and NGOs as social
• Facilitate the participants acquisition of a positive attitude towards social challenges and the
use of it as positive tool of transformation in youth work and in their lives;
• Improve international cooperation between organisations and build of trustful long-term
• Recognition of the educational value of NFE activities - Creation of outcomes (a daily Blog and
a Booklet) to spread in order to contribute to Youth Workers empowerment.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

2 participants (Youth workers and Youth leaders.) from 10 countries (Italy, Portugal, Hungary,
Cyprus, Austria, Belgium, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria, Republic of Macedonia (FYRM).). Team were compost for 3 Trainers (Laris Guerri, Lerio Cunha and me) and 2 Logistics Support (Simone Sani and Francesca Biancalani)

Training methods used & main activities

We will use non-formal tools, Videos, simulation games, Theatre exercises, experiential games, coaching and self-directed learning, taking care to provide a strong experiential impact on participants and organisations.

Outcomes of the activity

The TC learned and developed a news skills of facilitation: Learning to learn awareness, Effective Communication, Problem Solving,
Creativity, Conflict management and Designing a workshop.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role was a trainier in some sessions, especially about Conflate Management, Intercultural communication and workshop designer. I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
