Erasmus+ Connection

The training activity took place
in Vinci, Italy
organised by Associazione Agrado
31st May - 7th June 2014

Aims & objectives

It was a Seminar. Its aim was to analyze former cooperation along the Youth in Action Programme (identify what went wrong and well, collect best practices, check projects impact on youngsters, youth involvement in the projects, etc), promote discussion on the current European issues, discuss the next youth communitary programme and define a future cooperation strategy from 2014 to 2020 (taking into account EU/youngsters needs and expectations).
The Training activity addressed the needs of the partner organisations to gain learnings on the new programme and start planning new projects learning from past experiences, underlining good practices and bad ones.
Moreover it provided opportunities to make new partnership for new projects.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

This project gathered 20 international participants from 10 countries from Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Romania, Greece, Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland and Lithuania. All the participants were active in their organisations and managed projects. The Trainers Team was composed by 1 Italian and 2 Portuguese Trainers.

Training methods used & main activities

The activities were based in active and non-formal methods: team building, discussion sessions, work and reflection groups, visualizing videos and powerpoint presentations, games, intercultural evenings, visit of the local community, An Open Conference etc. It worked on stimulation of the development of personal and group competencies, taking in consideration the Key Competences of Youth Pass.
One good session was about future project ideas to develop according to the new Programme Erasmus+.

Outcomes of the activity

The project was succesfull as Evaluation questionnaires showed, because it had follow-ups in next projects, and many partnerships that arised there, still are on.
In the end of the activity/project we realised a quality handbook and a website with all the materials and methods used in the Seminar.
