Aims & objectives

The focus of the project is equip youth workers with the skills and competencies necessary in solving conflicts, acting as mediators, cooperate in a better way both at local and international level, and for the development of communication and the quality of youth work in general. With small steps going towards a bigger purpose, and acting locally to change at world level, this project will support the participants in solving and managing conflicts in all kind of situations (personally and professionally) inside NGO's, local communities and in projects.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The participants were 28: 24 youth workers and 2 volunteers from host organisation and 2 Trainers for Portugal.
The involved countries were 10: Hungary, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland and Greece.

Training methods used & main activities

We used a Non formal methods and tools: Team Building games, energisers, Video CV, Team-work, Creativity tasks, Motivational videos, Daily diary, Reflection Groups, Coaching sessions and simulation games.

Outcomes of the activity

The Project developed a personal and professional competences as final evaluation questionnaires confirm. Participants gained differents tools and methods to develop conflict managment skill.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role in CORE TC was a trainer in some sessions in especially about teambuild activities, Erasmus +, Good practices in Conflict managment, profissional development, follow up and evaluation, and next steps of the project. In this specific TC I had some counseling sessions with some of the trainees after the project.

I worked on this training for 7 training days days as a full time trainer.
