Work experience
Armin Cerkez is an international trainer, facilitator, and EU project expert with 15 years of experience in youth work, non-formal education, and international cooperation. He is the founder of Youth Power and Managing Director of YEAH Youth Empowerment & Action Hub gGmbH in Germany.
Armin has designed and facilitated over 50 international training courses, seminars, partnership-building activities, and youth exchanges within Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps, often in cooperation with National Agencies and SALTO Resource Centres. His work focuses on youth participation, inclusion, intercultural dialogue, project development, organisational capacity building, and strategic internationalisation in youth work.
Alongside his training work, he supports NGOs and international networks in project development, fundraising, and programme management. He is certified in Project Management (IPMA® Level D) and Agile Management and has an academic background in Health Sciences and Occupational Medicine, with a particular interest in wellbeing, sustainability, and long-term development within the youth work sector.
Armin works fluently in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, English, German, and Spanish.
Educational pathway
By profession, I am a Master of Health Science and a specialist in occupational therapy. In addition, I am also certified in project management. Currently, I am pursuing a certification in Agile project management.
