The Lower Silesian Voluntary Centre is founded by few organizations one of them is Non-Governmental Organisation “Żyj Kolorowo” (PIC: 942936419)
We work mainly with young students (13-19 years old) from our region (Dolny Śląsk - Lower Silesia) but also we have contacts with olders. The main goal is to support social groups in volunteering in region where they live, also in rural areas. We also help them to develop their interests, talents and social skills.
We cooperate with schools (about 150 schools; about 3000 young volunteers) in our city and region and prepare for them workshops, conferences Open Space, events, festivals which are connected with volunteering.
We have an experience in organization the summer camps for children and teenagers and in realization of Grundtvig’s projects.
This year we organized YE "Different faces of voluntary service" but we want to prepare some more. We want to apply on 02.02.2016. We’re interested in hosting and sending, also in the future projects.
We' re interested in volunteering, intercultural learning, art... and every new skill which can help volunteers to develop themselves. Because we cooperate with many groups we're flexible about topics.
Our project responds to the needs of young people who feel lost in today's world, who are looking for their place in society.
The goal of the project is the acquisition of self-cooking and nutrition skills nutrition without the use of fast foods and prepacked food.
We want to connect volunteering and art – as a universal language who goes directly to people’s hearts and make others to think and make changes in their lifes.
