Different views on the Second World War

Hi! :)
We are a group of four good friends, from the last class of International Junior High School no. 26 in Wroclaw, which means that we are 16 years old. We are really passionate about history. Because our school is international we speak English quite well – we are able to talk about history in English.

Recently we got interested in Second World War, and what is involved in it – the Holocaust. We have our opinions, our points of view. So we can confront them. But, we would like to have a broader view on this topic. In each country there are different educational systems, which means emphasise on different incidents, different looks for the same things or even different understanding of some facts. There are also some ethnical groups, which make everything more complicated and so more interesting, challenging. We would like to confront opinions from a few countries (Hungary, Germany, Israel, Great Britain, Norway, Italy); but we do have to keep in minds, that we want a polite discussion, not a big argufy.

We are looking for 6 groups, one from each of the following countries:
- Hungary
- Germany
- Israel
- Great Britain (I would prefer England)
- Norway
- Italy
We would like the people to be from 15-17 years old. We would prefer small groups (6 people from each country), but if there were more people interested in taking part in our project than we will be really happy to welcome them in Poland. It is really important for the project’s success to find people interested in history, especially Second World War and the Holocaust.
