Beliefs In Harmony

The objective of our project is to decrease the influence of religious stereotypes on our view of other people, raise knowledge about most prominent belief systems in Europe, establish a base of international knowledge on the topic of religion and create a common ground for cooperation, integration and interactions between people of different belief systems. Moreover, we hope to gain skills useful on the labour market and help reduce unemployment in Europe by our future contribution to the labour market. We also aim to help build a more integrated and equal society and decrease amount of conflicts originating in religious misunderstandings. We aim at improving communication between people of different social backgrounds and improving our understanding of the need for religion and its importance in life of European people.

In our project 48 participants from four countries and of different social backgrounds will participate, some of which could be described as socially disadvantaged due to lower financial status or a status of any minority in their society.

The methodology behind our project is to explore the topic of the project using the broadest scope of appropriate methods as possible. In our work during the project will base on a wide range of ways of working, such as The methods of work before and after the mobility will be mainly non-direct due to distances between the participants and will consist of: group discussions through video calls, working on social media platforms, working online in collectively edited documents, exchanging e-mails, discussing and creating organizational plans during a meeting before the mobility. During the mobility the methods of work will be such as: creating multimedia presentations, creating alternative ways of communication, setting up a Knowledge Folder, visiting places of religious practice, meeting with religious representatives, preparing a meal according to religious traditions, creating infographics, working with social media, creating a mind map, creating posters, creating a reportage, creating a mock press conference, conducting workshops, interacting with local community and more.

As a result of the project we hope to influence the region where the project will take place by influencing members of its society, promote the region among participants of the project and share information about the Erasmus project activities with the local people. We want the project to result with a promotion European values such as: integrity, promoting living in a democratic society, cooperation between people of different social backgrounds, what would in turn change in a long term an outlook on religion of European people and improve integration between people of different belief systems.
