Youth work and training grew from my extensive experience as a volunteer, and intern as well as my educational background. I was lucky to have experienced a variety of different educational systems and structures, including a Stiener/Waldorf primary school, main stream Irish secondary school and University as well as a 2-year period in an Active learning school for adolescents (Alfa project, http://www.alfaproject.org/) some of which I loved and some of which were a challenge.
My higher educational background grew from my passion and interest in understanding international issues, therefore in 2012 I completed my BSc in International Development and Food Policy. From here my interests took me on a slightly different journey as in 2013 I finished my Masters in Public Health, specialising in Health Promotion.
From following such a long stint in a structured learning environment, I finally decided to reconnect with my passion for NFL by participating in Training of Trainers (TOT), and an certification course FETAC 6 in Train the Trainer.
