TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
http://trainers.salto-youth.net/StevenGasgarth/
I started international youth work in 2009 when I discovered Erasmus+ (YiA), completing the ToT in 2013.
My early career was DJing & Music production which I combined with youth work from 1995. I am currently a self-employed Trainer and also Director and Project Manager for Coyote Initiatives CIC.
I use non-formal education in all my work - in training, youth/arts/community projects and in consulting with 3rd sector organisations.
Steven Gasgarth has 3 references for past work as a trainer.

1991-2004: Freelance Music Producer, DJ & Events Management.
2013-14: ToT 13, Training of Trainers for European Youth Projects.
This was a 9 month journey to develop my trainers competences, my understanding of non-formal education and the Erasmus+ programme, to meet and network with other trainers and to develop partnerships and projects for the future. This training provided a wealth of experience through the trainers and the other participants and has increased my competences and confidence as a trainer.
2014: Special Effects ToT, Italy. This training was a masterpiece in delivering the nuts and bolts of training design, group dynamics and facilitation. It helped to clarify my understanding of all these aspects, especially within the E+ field, and all using innovative and effective NFE methods.
2010-14: Process Oriented Psychotherapy.
This process oriented method has helped me to develop my coaching & facilitation work alongside providing huge insights into group and personal dynamics.
2009-10: Social Care HNC. I took this course to provide me with a formal basis for the work I was doing in the Social Work field. It helped to formalise my non-formal and self directed learning into a form that was appreciated and needed by the local councils and charities I was working for.
2004-06: Findhorn Foundation. When I began leading international youth groups for the FF, I took part in a number of their trainings in conflict resolution, art, group dynamics, leadership and facilitation skills. This was my first structured experience of non-formal education & learning and changed the way I worked. It also started my career change to that of trainer & facilitator.
Before that - School, College, University and other Stuff.
