Work experience

I have worked on the field of youth for 15 years. I have mainly worked in the national youth centers in Finland (SNK network), but also some individual organisations and few different municipalities.

For the past years I have worked mainly on helping different organisations to develop and manage their Erasmus+ and ESC projects. This year I'm working 50% as a coordinator for international activities in Metsäkartano Youth Center and the rest of the time I do other projects.

My favorite projects aside from a daily job is to work with team ESC projects. Last year for example I worked as a trainer for five different youth centers on their team ESC on-arrival trainings. I have also worked as an extra support person for team ESC projects when there are many highly vulnerable young people involved in the projects.

Educational pathway

I have graduated as a community educator from HUMAK University of Applied Sciences in 2012. I did my studies with a strong connection to intercultural and international work, project management and youth participation. I also studied outdoor education.

During my studies, and ever since I have as well participated many Erasmus+, CoE, or other training courses about participation, peace education, equality, democracy, outdoor education and environmental education.
