TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
http://trainers.salto-youth.net/MonikaKezaite/
- I have been here since 2000, still passionate about raising the quality of youth work by supporting the professional growth of youth work practitioners.
- Inspired by creating experiential, holistic and systemic learning spaces that connect directly to practice.
- For me, youth work at its best is inclusion.
- With SALTO T&C RC I co-developed long-term concepts for competence development
- I contribute to publications that support youth work practice.
Monika Kezaite-Jakniuniene has 5 references for past work as a trainer.
Full time facilitator and trainer
I have been involved in youth work and training since 1999.
Volunteering was my entry to youth work, where I started as mentor, tutor and coordinator of local and international volunteers. This field still remains the area where I train practitioners and organisations to be more competent. Sharing practices for personal, professsional, organisational and community development.
Another area of my professional activity is supporting learning within individual relationship (coaching, mentoring, supervision). I'm specifically employing this in my work with youth workers for their competence development.
Besides, I have experience working withing such topics as: team development, inclusion, experiential learning, intercultural communication and learning, personal development, learning organisations, project management etc.
I have been studying in several fields, but the following long term educational experiences are the most relevant to the work I do:
- Long term training course "Training for trainers for European Youth Projects (Austria, Hungary, Italy), 2000 -2001
- Long term training course "Intercultural via Experiential learning" (Belgium, Lithuania), 2002 -2003,
- Studies on Organisational Psychology in the Academy of Psychology (Human Study Center, Lithuania) 2006 - 2008
- Supervision and Coaching studies (Munster academy, Vilnius Magnus University and Association of Supervisors in Lithuania), 2015
- MA in Leadership and change management (Mykolas Romeris University), 2016
-Systemic Dynamics in Organisations, (Bert Hellinger Instituut, Netherlands), 2023
