Educational pathway

NON-FORMAL EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES

I have been implementing non-formal education-based activities in various settings (international/local), working mainly with young people including young people with fewer opportunities but also with youth workers or youth leaders.

Below you can find information on a few of the activities that I was part of through the years or I am currently involved in.

2020 - 2021
'Addressing Discrimination and Radicalization at Youth
Work through Art Based Approach' is a long-term capacity-building project implemented with the support of EACEA by ANTIK under the Western Balkan Window. The project includes series of international and local activities with the aim to develop competencies of youth workers to reach young people in the danger of radicalization. The project start is currently on stand-by due to COVID-19. My role as a trainer is to design and deliver training activities and support the participants in transferring their experiences into their local realities.

2020 - 2021
'Empowering Rural Youth Organizations' is a long-term capacity-building project implemented with the support of EACEA by Youth for Social Changes under the Western Balkan Window. The project focuses on increasing the capacities of the rural organizations to empower young people with fewer opportunities (NEETs) in rural areas. My role as a trainer is to design and deliver training activities and support the participants in transferring their experiences into their local realities.

March 2020 - on-going
'Exploring the Role of Youth in Reconciliation and Peacebuilding' is a long-term capacity-building project implemented with the support of EACEA by Youth for Social Changes under the Western Balkan Window. The project includes series of international and local activities such as training courses, study visits or seminar. In March 2020 took place 1st training course focused on raising competencies of youth workers in the field of peacebuilding, conflict management. My role as a trainer is to design and implement series of mobility activities including training courses and study visit.

March - November 2020
'Youth and Reconciliation: Young People Can Make Difference', a project implemented with the support of RYCO with the aim to empower young people and to raise their competences in the area of peacebuilding and reconciliation. The project was run fully online.

June, 2019
training course 'Writing Peace' implemented with the support of the Greek National Agency by EVEC Athens. The main aim of the training course was to raise the competencies of the participants on applying creative writing tools at their work supporting peacebuilding.

March, May 2019
Capacity building project (Erasmus +, KA 2) 'Adventure Education: From theory to practice'. The long-term project focused on developing competencies of youth workers in the field of adventure education. The project included various activities including two training courses.

May, June 2018
Capacity building project (Erasmus +, KA2) 'Dive Deeper into Social Entrepreneurship' implemented with the support of EACEA by Youth Alliance Krusevo. Main goal: to increase understanding of social entrepreneurship. Involved in delivering two training courses in Bulgaria and Portugal focused on crowdfunding and cross-sectorial cooperation in the framework of social entrepreneurship.

1.3. - 9. 3. 2018
Training Course 'Intercultural Dialogue through Creative Writing' implemented with the support of British Council by 'Youth4Future'. The main goal to increase the competencies of youth workers and leaders to apply techniques and methods of creative writing in the process of intercultural learning.

mid - 2017 - end 2018
Capacity Building Project (Erasmus +, KA2) 'Fighting Gender Inequality by Youth Work' implemented with the support of EACEA by Youth for Social Changes. Involved in several project activities including seminars addressing gender issues and training courses focused on campaigning. 6.10. - 15. 10. 2017
Training course 'Writing is Rewriting' implemented with the support of Latvian National Agency by Room of Fulfilled Dreams. Main goal: to introduce creative writing as a tool to address stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination, and radicalization.

Long term training course "Let's train - Peace Education" initiated by SALTO EECA with the support of the Polish National Agency for Youth (FRSE) including training course in Georgia (03. - 10.2010), coaching phase and implementing developed actions and evaluation meeting 'Let’s Follow Up' taking place in Warsaw (07. 10. – 12. 10. 2011).
