TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

From my perspective, a good trainer is a scientist, an artist and most of all, a human.
We are scientists when we provide and use scientifically proved knowledge in our sessions.
We are artists when we practice the art of designing and facilitating... creating silence, powerful questions and fun.
We are humans when we allow others (and ourselves) to express and share their inner thoughts and feelings.
A trainer is a creator of spaces of respect, trust, empathy, and learning. It's magic!
Marina Codorniu Matas has 9 references for past work as a trainer.
Freelance Coach, Trainer, Facilitator and Project Manager
I started delivering training courses as a volunteer for the European Geography Association and other student organisations.
Later on, I got involved in Erasmus+ projects. I began delivering trainings and facilitating meetings, conferences, and youth exchanges all over Europe and the North of Africa.
Right now I am focused on delivering soft skills trainings as well as other kinds of training courses. Some of my most beloved topics are:
- Self Development
- Communication
- Resilience
- Permaculture & Sustainability
- Teamwork
- Training of Trainers
- Empathy
- Project Management
- Conflict Management
- Peace Building
- Intercultural Understanding
Besides this, I am a Personal Coach who loves to support individuals on their paths.
I am also a Project Manager, ideator and developer.
Last but not least, I am working with horses my whole life. Horses are my other passion besides non-formal education. Although many times I think they can be part of non-formal and informal education too...
I am a Horse & Human Facilitator, I support horses and people to create healthy, empathetic and responsible relationships and I help horses who suffered traumatic experiences as well. Additionally, I have experience working with horse therapies for people with disability.
My formal educational background comes from Geography. Studying Geography allowed me to discover the world, understand it better and broaden my perspective. I also studied Permaculture, putting the focus on Sustainability. That gave me a lot to think about!
During my university studies, I discovered EGEA (European Geography Association). There, I got the chance to participate in a Training for New Trainers and I fell in love with non-formal education. That training changed my life, it shaped me in a very positive way.
That's why I decided to take a step forward and after several training courses, I took my way to personal coaching... Every day I thank those people I met there for the experiences we lived together. That course definitely made me become a better coach, trainer, and human.
Since then, I keep on learning from other trainers, participants, training courses... and life!
A huge thanks to all the learning experiences for raising awareness and bringing us to take action!
