Aims & objectives

This was the third phase of the KA1 project Eastern Encounters lead by CRN in which participants created a role-playing game based on the conflict curve theory which is going to be played in the final phase of the project, the Youth Exchange.

The game aims to be a non-formal education tool through which youth can learn about conflict management and peacebuilding.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants of this reflection meeting came from: Germany, Denmark, Russian Federation, Poland, Georgia, Ukraine and Armenia

Training methods used & main activities

Non-formal education tools were used in this training.

First, participants remembered the Conflict Curve theory by building the model themselves.
Then, we all co-created the role-playing game based on the Gamestorming methodology.

Outcomes of the activity

By the end of the reflection meeting, the role-playing game was created successfully and participants were very excited to play it in the upcoming Youth Exchange.

At the end of the meeting, participants also filled in the evaluation form, which showed very positive feedback.
