Work experience

I currently work as a free-lance youth trainer and as project coordinator at Youth for Exchange and Understanding International in Brussels. I have recently worked as educational associate and trainer for the National Agency of Cyprus, the Commissioner for Children's Rights in Cyprus as well as several non-governmental organization in Cyprus and abroad. I have a lot of experience working with the topics of Human Rights, Gender issues, Empowerment, Volunteering and Management. Concretely, my work experience is as following:
01/02/2013 until today: Project Coordinator at Youth for Exchange and Understanding
01/10/2011 until today: Educational Associate and Trainer for the National Agency of the YiA/E+ Youth Programme in Cyprus
01/12/2012 until 01/11/2013: Educational Associate and Trainer at the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in Cyprus
01/12/2012 until 01/07/2013: Facilitator of the Active Dialogue Network (part of the ENGAGE Programme of the UNDP) managed by the NGO Support Centre in Cyprus

Educational pathway

I discovered youth programmes and non-formal education while I was studying to become a primary school teacher. Feeling amazed by their impact, I decided to focus on non-formal education while still using all competences gained during the studies. Precisely, here are the main elements of my educational background:
