A comprehensive, free of charge online course that will guide youth workers on how to use Songs (and particularly ancient songs) in their work with youth to maximize their learning process.
- To introduce to youth work an innovative Methodology based on Singing
- To gain knowledge and skills regarding using Songs in Youth Work and in Learning in general
- To acquire a toolkit of 12 Songs
- To get inspiration and motivation
This comprehensive online course will guide youth workers on how to use Songs (and particularly ancient songs) in their work with youth to maximize their learning process.
It has been developed within the framework of the project "Weaving Songs and Stories", a project Co-funded by the European Union.
It includes 6 Lessons with theory, concepts and suggestions and 12 Songs. The Songs were filmed with the kind permission of the participants of our training course "Weaving Songs and Stories" that took place in June 2022 in Cyprus.
The main weavers of this online course are Eleni Michail (from Cyprus) and Bogdan Romanica (from Romania). The organizations involved are Inspiration Path (Cyprus) and Dreams for Life (Romania).
It is worth to say that among the benefits we see as a result of using Songs in Youth Work are:
