Associate professor , trainer
Non-formal education
I am involved in trainings for 17 years. Since 2000 I work on local and international level as a free-lance trainer in field of youth work. At the moment I am member of Trainers pool of Council of Europe, Trainers pool for EVS of SALTO-EECA.
Besides training activities I also have a long experience of cooperation with SALTO, “Erasmus plus” as a project coordinator, expert, editor, author of texts. I was a multiplier of “YOUTH in action” programme, edited and wrote numerous materials for SALTO EECA including broshures, articles for “Youth in 7” magazine and guidebooks.
On a grass-root level I have experience about 22 years in training, project management and NGO management. On an international level - I was working full time for 4 years for UNICEF as a project coordinator. In 2008 I was employed as an internal expert of local support office of European Commission in Saint-Petersburg. In 2010 – as a program manager for the Danish Church Aid.
• Being a manager of youth NGO “Youth information centre” I have a long experience of co-operation and partnership with governmental structures
Since 1999 I work for the Universities developing and implementing courses for the students of social work, youth work and media.
I am an author of several manuals for youth workers related to non-formal education, intercultural learning and participation. In total I have more than 120 publications including papers in scientific magazines and abstracts of conferences, 3 educational manuals on youth work, 4 manuals for social work students, four books.
As a trainer I grow up thanks to the trainings of Concil of Europe, SALTO-EECA and other international stakeholders. Some of them were mainly around non-formal education (how to do it on a good professional level) and others were mainly related to certain topics (for ex. gender issues in youth work).
My formal education included:
