I am presently part of project management, supporting networking and strategic planning for the Asociación Ágora Cultural in Valencia, Spain, responsible for coordinating and mentoring Ágora Cultural’s busy flow of local and international volunteers.
My main focus is to assist in the project management and project circle of the long-term projects at Ágora Cultural, such as: European Voluntary Service -EVS – hosting and sending, Youth Exchanges, Training Courses and Seminars, Vocational Education Practice, Learning Partnerships and additional national programs aiming to build local and global links and also involved in many other European events.
As a youth trainer, I plan and facilitate training sessions for international groups of young people and professionals for the Spanish National Agency for Youth, on the following themes: Non-Formal Education, Social Inclusion, Active Volunteering, International Cooperation and other, mostly as part of the Youth in Action Program.
Previously, I participated in the Youth in Action -European Voluntary Service Program, in the NGO “Bona Gent” in Valencia focusing on Intellectual Disability, Inclusion, Arts and Crafts, supporting the training and educational activities of people with intellectual disabilities.
Upon finalization of my EVS project, I became a part of the coordinating stuff in the same association tutoring the workshop of the Employment and Labour Market Insertion Program and coordinating recreational activities and trips for people with intellectual disabilities.
For the year 2014/2015 I participated in the Training of Trainers for European Erasmus+: Youth in Action Projects organized by SALTO Training and Co-operation Centre and the National agencies of the Youth in Action Program. Over a period of 1 year, in 3 seminars, one practical project, ongoing E-learning and self-directed learning, my focus was on the competences and motivation for the improvement of the quality of projects under the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Program.
My European mobility begun when I undertook a Language Summer Course in Humbolt Institute in Berlin which was later prolonged in a 11-month stay in Berlin under an independent language study, experiential intercultural research and personal writing.
I undertook a five-year degree, in Greece - Thessaloniki, on Economics (Financing and Marketing) specializing in Business Economics. At the end of this degree, I participated in a Student Practice of the Department of Economics within the framework of the Operational Program for Education and Initial Vocational Training, as marketing trainee in a local Retail Company.
