Nugzar Kokhreidze

Educational pathway

My educational background combines academic research, practical training, coaching, personal development, and non-formal education.

I hold a PhD in International Relations from Georgian-American University. My research focused on the links between conflict, migration, and international politics. This academic experience is very important for my training work, especially in the fields of conflict transformation, reconciliation, civic engagement, migration, and international cooperation.

I also completed a two-year distance-learning programme in coaching, training, and psychological counselling at the University of Practical Psychology. This helped me deepen my understanding of personal development, motivation, group dynamics, communication, and learning processes.

In addition, I participated in a personal transformation programme at Landmark Forum, which was important for my personal growth and for developing a deeper understanding of self-awareness, responsibility, communication, and the role of personal choice in change processes.

Since 2005, I have been developing myself as a trainer and facilitator. Training became an important part of my professional identity because it allows me to work in non-formal education, be creative, share knowledge with young people, and learn from them at the same time.

Earlier, I graduated from Akaki Tsereteli State University with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Slavic Languages and Literature. This background strengthened my communication skills, analytical thinking, intercultural understanding, and ability to work with language, texts, and people.
