An overview of some SALTO statistics for 2005

• There were 45 courses and seminars organised or coordinated by SALTO-YOUTH in 2005 (40 in 2004) for which the NEW SALTO online application & selection procedure was used (easier access, greater transparency, more efficient course management)
• the www.SALTO-YOUTH.net website was visited 442.144 times in 2005 (274.051 visitor sessions in 2004) which is an average of 1211 sessions per day (750 in 2004)
• in total these visitors viewed 2.384.492 pages which means an average of 6533 SALTO pages viewed per day in 2005, and on average 5.4 pages per visit (session).
• 169 activites listed in the training opportunities in the European Training Calendar (167 in 2004) and 155.615 searches in the training calendar in 2005 (viewing www.salto-youth.net/find-a-training/)
• estimated 388 tools, methods and background texts in the Toolbox for Training (332 in 2004) and 64.909 searches in the Toolbox (viewing www.salto-youth.net/find-a-tool/)
• Refreshment of the Trainers Online for Youth database (requesting an update of the TOY profile) in February-March 2005 (filtering 30 old profiles out). By the end of 2005 there were 210 youth work trainers listed (183 end 2004) and there were 53.162 searches in TOY (viewing www.salto-youth.net/find-a-trainer/)
• information via the SALTO Newsletters reaches over 7450 readers (6500 in 2004) and new issues of the Meet'In EuroMed, Youth in Action or SeeYOUth magazines are published and distributed on a regular basis
• educational publications such as the new Inclusion for All Booklets, an upcoming Youth Initiatives Coaching Guide, the EuroMed Training Bag, the Travelling Cultural Diversity Resource Pack etc.
• innovative initiatives such as Bridges for Recognition, the YOUTH pass, target group specific information for inclusion etc.
• useful content for our visitors online like the 115.884 downloaded files from the SALTO site in 2005 (75.935 in 2004).
• and much much more to support you in your youth work !
