6. TC "Hitchhikers Guide to the Digital Galaxy: part 1 Digital Storytelling"
Locally I was a trainer on our long-term project "Youth Reflex 2.0". (Topics: Human Rights, Discrimination, Gender-based Violence, Social Inclusion)
I am in charge of Digital Storytelling division within another long-term project "ACT - Creative Twinning". Within this project I carried out 10 local workshops across the country.
I am also in charge of a Georgian representation of an international environmental organization "Let's Do It World".
My current responsibilities include:
- Coordinating international Erasmus+ projects;
- Working with local young people and facilitating sessions on Human Rights, Discrimination, Social Inclusion, Intercultural Dialogue, Digital Storytelling, Environment, etc.;
- Writing new projects/Writing reports;
- Creating dissemination materials/visual materials for our social media pages;
- Cooperating with various stakeholders.
However, my work is very flexible and I am open to any new opportunities.
Formal education:
Bachelor's Degree for the Faculty of Law
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Tbilisi (Georgia)
Non-formal education:
1. Training Course "Accountability and Transparency of Civil Society Organisations", Tbilisi (Georgia)
2. Training Course "Youth Work Responses to Gender-based Discrimination and Violence", Surami (Georgia)
3. KA3 Erasmus+ project "The Involvement of Youth into the Work of Democratic Institutions", The Hague (Netherlands)
4. Seminar - "I Act - Exploring Masculinities", Milan (Italy)
5. Learning Mobility Project "Gender+", Velbert (Germany)
6. Learning Mobility Project "Empowerment of Youth Against Bullying and Violence", Sofia (Bulgaria)
7. Kick off Training, Seminar and Final Meeting - "One Step Ahead" (Poland, Sweden, Moldova)
8. Online Training Course - "Let’s Talk About Mental Health".
Both formal and non-formal experiences are extremely important to me. Through the university I learned Human Rights issues in-depth and later I used this knowledge for non-formal education and for youth work. All of the listed projects changed my life in certain ways and gave me the inspiration and motivation to become a better trainer and change other people's lives too.
