http://trainers.salto-youth.net/MihaelaGeorgianaAdelinaDragomir/
European trainer, facilitator and NGO professional passionate about helping people navigate change and build the skills they need for the future.
My work brings together future skills, employability, entrepreneurship, digital citizenship and non-formal education, drawing on experience in international projects and quality management, including ISO standards.
Curious by nature, I believe meaningful learning starts with good questions and grows through experimentation and exchange.
Mihaela Georgiana Adelina Dragomir has 6 references for past work as a trainer.
Head of Future Skills
My professional experience focuses on training, learning design, facilitation and project management in the European youth and civil society sectors. I have been part of GEYC since 2018, where I have designed and delivered learning activities within European projects and programmes, and I currently serve as Head of Future Skills, working on topics such as future readiness, employability, entrepreneurship, digital citizenship education, STEAM and changemaking.
As a trainer, I have delivered learning experiences for young people, youth workers and professionals in international and intercultural settings. My portfolio includes for example E+ TCs covering entrepreneurship, design thinking, social inclusion and intercultural communication, as well as three editions of the European Digital Youth Summit. I have also delivered modules within the Anna Lindh Foundation's Enhance Your Capacity Academy, focusing on project management, resilience, sustainability and digital tools.
Alongside training, I have substantial experience in democratic and participatory facilitation. For example for the Conference on the Future of Europe, Panel 4, I facilitated sessions in Strasbourg, Maastricht and online, including multilingual discussions supported by simultaneous interpretation, and reported participants' recommendations for the European institutions. I have also facilitated citizen and stakeholder consultations for DEMSOC, Renew Europe and VO Europe on topics including the European Green Deal and the just transition, and coordinated a team of six facilitators for citizen panels in Romania.
Across both training and facilitation roles, I focus on making complex topics accessible, using participatory methods and creating structured learning environments in which participants can connect ideas with practical experience, discussion and action.
My educational pathway combines communication, marketing, management and project management, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of my work in the youth and NGO sectors.
I hold a BA in Communication and Public Relations, a BA in Management, as well as two Master's degrees focused on Marketing Policies and Strategies and Consumer Behaviour and Marketing. This academic background has helped me develop a strong understanding of communication, organisational management, audience needs and behavioural insights, which I regularly integrate into training design and facilitation.
Alongside my formal education, I am a certified Trainer and certified Project Manager and have continued developing my skills through professional and non-formal learning. My additional qualifications and specialised training include Google Agile Project Management, Design Thinking for Learning, the One Young World Academy Series – NATO and the Future of Global Security, and training as an internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 19011 and ISO 45001.
My non-formal learning has been closely connected to European cooperation and youth work, particularly in the areas of future skills, employability, entrepreneurship, digital citizenship, STEAM, participation and intercultural learning. Through European projects and international learning environments, I have continuously combined new methodologies and policy perspectives with hands-on experience in designing and facilitating learning experiences for young people, youth workers and professionals.
