=BRIEF PRESENTATION OF THE ORGANISATION=

L'Ayalguina is a non-profit organization committed to empowering individuals toward a fulfilled life, founded on self-confidence, openness to others, honesty, generosity, emotional expression, and a sense of community responsibility. We advocate for a culture of solidarity and cooperation, respecting individual dignity, diversity, and human rights.

Our activities include social interventions, cultural and artistic events, training initiatives, recreational activities, publications, sports, and comprehensive support for community members. Through these actions, we strive to foster a committed, active, and responsible citizenship. Additionally, we encourage networking with local entities, educational communities, and public institutions to ensure alignment with our mission.

Our team brings over 20 years of experience working with diverse youth groups, fostering spaces for development and leadership locally and internationally. Engaging young people and expanding their active involvement remain central to our mission.

=ACTIVITIES AND EXPERIENCE OF THE ORGANISATION=

L'Ayalguina has been actively involved in youth work in Avilés since 2008, using a non-formal approach centred on youth-led initiatives. Supported by the Youth Department, our projects span schools and public spaces in Avilés, promoting leadership and skill-building. Some of our key projects include:

- "Antenas Informativas" – Providing essential resources and information for youth.
- "Radiadora" – Youth-led online radio platform for expression and discussion.
- "Tú Propones" – Our largest municipal project fostering youth-led activities, including the "Roca de Guía Juegos" board game group, which promotes strategic thinking, collaboration, and creativity.
- Internationally, "YEuropa!" connects youth to European learning opportunities. We have organized and hosted multiple youth exchanges and training courses, collaborating with local entities to build youth worker competencies. We have hosted two exchanges and three training courses locally and have participated in more than 20 Erasmus+ projects, contributing to a strong practice community.

Some of the past local projects include:
- "Conecta Joven"/"Entrenadores Digitales" – Intergenerational digital literacy.
- "Alianza Lila Castrillón" – Youth-led feminist group for gender equality.
- "Acercarse Avilés APS" – Service-learning workshops in local schools.
