Using Outcomes - FROM THE CD ROM

When you go to all the trouble of evaluating different elements of a training course, you might as well use the results of your efforts.

Vital factors here are:

Timing - when to use your results

Peope/Organisations - who is going to be involved in receiving the results

Long-term impact - how will the course continue to 'live' after it is finished (the course may well have been an important experience for those directly involved, but how do others get to know about it and understand better what the value of the course was?)

'Must do' and 'Would like to do' - there are some forms of using the outcomes of evaluation which are obligatory (like reports to funders) and others which you might like to consider when planning your evaluation distribution strategy.

Motivation - and pride in what has been learnt and achieved
