Evaluation of teamwork

Evaluating your work as a team contributes to the improvment of your work.

Working in international "training mostly means working together in an intensive way, coming from different educational backgrounds and having diverse training styles.  All of this puts high demands on the performance of a team and the commitment of individual members.

In our training example "Just Imagine", Anna, Olaf, Sonja, Jose and Briana decided already in their preparation meeting to reserve time for a proper evaluation of their teamwork.

They chose three different methods for that:

  • A daily evaluation of half an hour looking back on their team performance during the day including co-operation in the team and feedback on sessions done by individual team members.
  • Half way through the seminar they spent two hours on a feedback seminar focussing on their performance in the team.
  • A team evaluation at the end of the seminar addressing the team dynamics and co-operation.
