Educational pathway
I was born in a very little town in Turkey. I finished primary and high school in this town and I moved to Izmir (a big city in the west coast of Turkey)
In Izmir, I started to study Public Administration and Political Science then I started to master in the same department.
During my bachelor's education, I met non-formal learning in an EU Project about reproductive and sexual health. Life was changed for me after this period.
I participated in a lot of training about this topic and my awareness was raised about youth work.
I participated in national and international training of trainers. And I got role a lot of youth training and seminar in Turkey and Europa.
With my experience in EU Youth Programme projects, I developed my project management skills, and then I started to work at Dokuz Eylul University Project Office and Technology Transfer Office. Also, I got lots of training about professional project management, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship.
Now I am working at Near East University. I am a lecturer and I giving lessons about;
- Project Management,
- Quality Management,
- 21st Century Competencies,
- Learning 2 Learn and I am using non-formal education technics in formal education process.
And also still work in NGOs as a volunteer. I am the president of the Turkish Ex-EVS Volunteers' Youth Association - TREXEVS.
