Ksenija Joksimovic has 3 references for past work as a trainer.
PhD researcher, social justice educator and trainer
Since 2015, the focus of my work has been exclusively on human rights, social justice and anti-oppressive critical education, grounded in an intersectional approach to community organising / social movement organising of socially marginalised groups.
Examples of the international trainings co-facilitated:
* Activist Academy organised by IGLYO in collaboration with Jugendnetzwerk Lambda (Germany) (https://www.iglyo.org/opportunities/activist-academy-berlin-2017),
* Playing for Equality (https://www.okoorg.rs/playing-for-equality-2)
* Tapping Skills in Drama and Play (https://www.salto-youth.net/tools/toy/reference/tapping-skills-in-drama-and-play.7899/)
I was a trainer/facilitator of the Crossroads project (Erasmus+, JINT), a European capacity building youth project funded by JINT (the Belgian Erasmus+ Youth national agency), focusing on capacity building of activists and youth workers working on the intersection of LGBTQI, Roma and refugee rights in Belgium, Greece and Italy. The project (2024-2025) consisted of: 1) a 3 day advocacy and networking event in Brussels, Belgium, 2) 7-day Training Course in Athens, Greece, and 3) implementation of least 3 local solidarity and awareness-raising actions by the participants of the project in each country.
Project responsibilities: 7-day training facilitation; meeting facilitation with international human rights NGOs based in Brussels and Members of the European Parliament; project report writing.
As an external collaborator-consultant of the European Roma Rights Centre, in May-June 2025, I facilitated a seminar on resilience building for Roma rights defenders and activists from the European region, within the Transnational Roma Rights Network Meeting, and a webinar on burnout-prevention, both as a part of the of European Commission-funded Project RISE - Roma Inclusion and Support Effort. Currently, I facilitate online support groups for Roma rights activists and defenders on burnout prevention, within the same project.
As a member of the Pool of trainers of the Council of Europe, I was contracted (2022) to co-facilitate 'Let's Get Political'- an international seminar on the engagement of young people in political life, organised by the Council of Europe Youth Department. The seminar brought together more than 50 participants from youth organisations, national and local authorities, elected representatives, and institutions responsible with research and political education.

In 2021, I was contracted by the Youth Department of the Council of Europe, to write a comprehensive report on the Council of Europe's Online Consultative Meeting ''Mainstreaming intersectionality in the youth field''. It was organised within the framework and the priorities of the Youth for Democracy Programme 2020-2021, for the Youth Department of the Council of Europe.
