Description of the tool

The YOUth Miro-Based Toolkit for Youth – Rural Entrepreneurship Virtual Workspace is a practical digital resource developed within the Erasmus+ project YOUth Roots: Nurturing Rural Entrepreneurship. Built on the Miro collaborative platform, it supports youth workers, trainers and mentors in guiding young people through the process of developing and refining rural business ideas.

Organised as an interactive Miro workspace, the toolkit provides a structured learning pathway that combines visual templates, practical activities and guided exercises. It is intended to be used during facilitated mentoring sessions rather than as a self-paced course, allowing participants to progressively develop their entrepreneurial projects with the support of a facilitator.

The toolkit covers the main stages of business development, including idea generation, business model design, market analysis, marketing strategies, financial planning, sustainability, funding opportunities and action planning. The activities encourage participants to reflect on local opportunities, collaborate with peers and transform business ideas into realistic project proposals.

Designed for online and blended learning, the toolkit is particularly suitable for rural contexts where access to face-to-face entrepreneurship training may be limited. Its collaborative structure within Miro enables facilitators and participants to work together in real time, encouraging active participation, creativity and practical application of entrepreneurial knowledge.
