This toolkit contains 18 different tools and activities to
be used by youth workers and youth leaders in HumanRights Education activities, projects, and workshops.
All the activities are based on different non-formal
education methods and aim to raise awareness about
the issues related to Human Rights protection, foster
Human Rights activism, and help youth workers to
engage young people in discussions on topics, related
to Human Rights, especially the ones concerning the
vulnerable social groups.
Through various innovative non-formal education
methods, the activities/exercises of this toolkit aim to:
- Build awareness, knowledge, and understanding
of Human rights and their importance;
- Provide participants with knowledge, skills and
attitudes to understand how they can give their
own contribution;
- Open a debate on how to engage, promote,
defend and apply human rights principles to
our daily life;
- Train participants' ability to act as multipliers;
- Foster participants' soft skills;
