The Word-Check Dictionary serves as a way for organizations and/or youth workers to get informed about vocabulary words that relate to discrimination and how to use them properly. Plus, various hotlines for help are available in it in case of need.
1. Becoming more aware of hate speech, what it is, how to differentiate it from giving opinions
2. Being aware of the media around us and becoming more independent with the information we receive.
3. Giving support lines/websites in case of discrimination or harassment.
The Word-Check Dictionary serves as a way for organizations and/or youth workers to get informed about vocabulary words that relate to discrimination and how to use them properly. During the youth exchange on hate speech and media literacy, we dove into different types of discrimination, how to avoid them, how to act upon them, hwo to fact-check, what microaggressions are, different sexual orientations and gender identities, intersectionality, etc. Plus, various hotlines for help are available in it in case of harassment or discrimination.
