This handbook aims at helping you become aware of the gender
situation within your organisation and start thinking from a gender
perspective, understand the complexity of gender inequalities in
general, and find suitable responses in addressing gender questions
both through your work and practices. The handbook covers structural,
representational, organisational, as well as policy related aspects,
towards which you can introduce gender equality measures. In doing so,
it highlights a variety of tools suggested from our side for that purpose.
This handbook also offers concrete examples that the member
organisations of the YFJ already have in place, which we hope will serve
as additional inspiration for your engagement.
