Aims of the tool

Description of the tool

The CARE Training Manual is a practical non-formal education resource developed within the Erasmus+ KA210-YOU project CARE – Promoting Mental Health in Youth Work. It supports youth workers, trainers, educators, facilitators, and youth organizations in promoting mental health and emotional well-being among both youth workers and young people.
After using the CARE Training Manual, learners will be able to:

Understand the importance of mental health and emotional well-being in youth work.
Recognize the signs and risk factors of stress, burnout, and emotional exhaustion.
Apply practical non-formal education methods to promote mental health and resilience.
Use mindfulness, relaxation, emotional regulation, and stress management techniques in their daily work.
Develop strategies to promote healthy lifestyles and work-life balance.
Create supportive and inclusive learning environments for young people.
Facilitate group activities that strengthen emotional intelligence, communication, cooperation, and peer support.
Adapt the proposed methods to different target groups and local contexts.
Design and implement educational activities that foster positive mental health and well-being.
Contribute to improving the quality of youth work by integrating mental health promotion into everyday practice.
