The toolkit is creatd to support youth workers provides practical knowledge and non-formal education methods aimed at
developing media literacy, critical thinking, digital safety skills and responsible participation in
online environments.
The toolkit βIs It Safe to Say a Word?β was created to support youth workers, educators, youth
leaders, trainers and facilitators working with young people, particularly those with fewer
opportunities. It provides practical knowledge and non-formal education methods aimed at
developing media literacy, critical thinking, digital safety skills and responsible participation in
online environments.
The toolkit combines theoretical foundations with practical activities that can be adapted to
various educational contexts, including youth exchanges, training courses, local youth initiatives,
youth centres, schools, volunteering projects and community activities.
