Description of the tool

Social Entrepreneurship Education for Community Transformation is a practical toolkit and casebook developed through the ENTER-preneurship (KA210-ADU) project by partners from Germany, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden.
The resource is designed for adult educators, trainers and organisations working with migrants, refugees, marginalised adults and other learners who may benefit from entrepreneurial and social innovation education.
The toolkit brings together learning approaches and practical activities developed and tested through international cooperation, an intensive training course and Social Hackathons in four countries. It is based on the principles of EntreComp and focuses on learning through participation, collaboration, experimentation and reflection. The methods can be used individually or combined into a longer learning programme. Activities can be adapted to different groups, learning environments and local community contexts.
A central approach is to move from identifying a challenge to developing and presenting a possible solution. Learners explore community needs, analyse problems, identify opportunities, generate ideas, consider stakeholders and develop social business or community-benefit concepts. Through teamwork and pitching, they receive feedback and learn to communicate the value and potential impact of their ideas.
For educators, the toolkit provides adaptable methods that can be incorporated into non-formal adult learning programmes and combined with local partnerships, community challenges, SMEs, municipalities, job centres or other stakeholders.
