Name Game/Get to know each other
To create a warm atmosphere in the group
To learn participants, staff and trainers’ names
To build trust within the group
The group is standing in a circle. Each person of the group is asked to write down on a flipchart paper the own name. As well every one is asked to tell to the group the story of the name (e.g. where it comes from, why parents decided it what does it means, etc..) The exercise ends when all the members of the group have explained the story of the own name.
