Aims of the tool
The publication "Comics Unleashed" is a collaborative toolkit designed for educators, teachers, youth workers, and NGO professionals. It explores how comics can be used to foster inclusion, tolerance, and diversity in education. The toolkit covers understanding comics, practical steps for creating comics, real-life examples, and future opportunities. It showcases the transformative impact of 25 participants who learned and practiced the comics creation process during an Erasmus+ training course. The toolkit empowers educators with concrete strategies to harness the creative potential of comics and promote inclusive learning environments.
Description of the tool
This Toolkit has been designed
to empower educators, youth workers, and teachers with practical strategies and tips for using comic books and visual storytelling as innovative dynamic tools to promote inclusion, tolerance, and diversity in various educational settings.
The Manual was developed as a logical outcome of the KA-153 Project, "Youth League: Comics as a Tool for youth work" and based on the extensive preparations and research before, during, and after the Training course by the consortium of participating NGOs.
